Fiddler's Elbow Country Club
This exclusive club maintains three well manicured eighteen hole courses for their 1,200 members The Forest Course was carved out of the forest and features narrow fairways with mounding that will create some interesting lies The greens vary in design but are exceptionally large and loaded with subtle undulations Water hazards come into play on two holes The most difficult hole to play is 18 a 602 yard par 5 which plays uphill and requires a tee shot that must carry a pond The River Course has the Lamington River meandering into play on twelve holes The fairways are wide open and the terrain is rolling The most difficult hole to play is 7 a 409 yard par 4 with a dogleg left fairway and undulating green which are both protected by plenty of sand bunkers The Meadow Course was built in a meadow and is the most hilly of the three courses especially the back nine Be prepared for many up and downhill shots to small greens Water hazards come into play on seven holes The most difficult hole is 15 a 463 yard par 4 which requires two long uphill into the wind shots to a well bunkered green For additional information call the club at 908 439 2513 or log on to their website at www fiddlerselbowcc com
